Big News for North Haven

Amazon – the largest internet-based retailer in the world – has decided to expand its presence in Connecticut right here in North Haven.

This is extraordinary news for our town that would not be possible without the hard work of First Selectman Mike Freda. While many Connecticut families are facing difficult times right now, North Haven, under the leadership of our first selectman, is taking important steps to grow jobs and encourage business development in our community to help all families.

The new state-of-the-art, 855,000 square-foot fulfillment center is set to create 1,800 jobs.

I look forward to continuing to work with Amazon as a new local partner, along with local and state officials, to bring new development, growth and vitality to our entire region. Our town is lucky to have the leadership of First Selectman Freda and his exceptional efforts to create and welcome jobs in our community.
