Sen. McLachlan Receives Award from CT Wing Civil Air Patrol

State Senator Michael McLachlan (R-24) recently received an award from the Civil Air Patrol Connecticut Wing for his leadership and support of the organization.

“I am truly honored to receive an award from an organization that does so much for the community,” Sen. McLachlan said. “The role the Civil Air Patrol plays in helping develop young people into responsible citizens and educating the public about aviation history and the science behind flight is so important.”

Sen. McLachlan received the award from retiring Colonel Ken Chapman and LT. Colonel Darren Cioffi.

Sen. McLachlan represents the communities of Bethel, Danbury, New Fairfield, and Sherman.
