Sen. McLachlan Encourages Participation in Prescription Take-Back Events

April 27, 2017

drug take back

Saturday, April 29, is National Prescription Drug Take-Back Day, when people can bring their old medicines to local police department and other locations who will safely dispose of the drugs. This is important because, as we’ve learned from the opioid epidemic, many people who are addicted to drugs start by abusing their own, or a family member’s prescription medications.

Below are locations for Saturday’s take-back events. They start at 10 a.m. and run until 2 p.m. You can also go tohttps://www.deadiversion.usdoj.gov/drug_disposal/takeback/index.html for more information.
