Good news!

April 7, 2017

The Waterbury Republican-American reports that a panel of state officials and state legislators has moved to secure funding tocontinue rifle salutes at veterans’ funerals for the next three months.

While this is good news for the time being, I continue to support legislation that requires the state to provide sufficient funds to ensure an honor guard of two or three riflemen at the funeral of eligible wartime veterans and National Guard members.

Our veterans – and their families – should be treated with respect.

To those of you who continue to sign and share my petition at www.SenatorSuzio.com to “Restore the CT Honor Guard Funding”, I say, “Thank You!”
