Apparently, many of you DO remember 1992…
April 3, 2017On Friday afternoon, I asked you a question.
I asked, “Do you remembered the year 1992 ?”
In 1992, more than 80 % of Connecticut voters approved a Constitutional Spending Cap.
But the Legislature never fully implemented the spending cap.
The voters’ mandate has been ignored for 25 years.
Between Friday afternoon and today, I have heard from many of you who are sick and tired of being ignored.
You agree with me that Connecticut needs a strong cap on state government spending – one that cannot be sidestepped.
You agree with me that Connecticut needs a spending cap that actually caps spending!
