CT tax burden higher, biz climate less favorable than other states

High taxes, over regulation, and years of bad budget policies are causing Connecticut to lose businesses and population. Instead of adding tolls and new taxes, lawmakers must make structural changes to CT government to rein in costs. We must create an environment where jobs can grow and our economy can flourish. New taxes will not accomplish that and it will not make our state a better place to live, work, and raise a family.

If you agree that Connecticut must stop relying on new taxes and tolls and start looking at bipartisan solutions to better our state, call Senate Democrats at 860-240-8600 to let them know your thoughts.

Urge Democrat lawmakers to stop the tax-and-spend approach. It’s time for lawmakers to come together to work on long-term changes that will move our state forward. More tax burdens will only hold us back.
