East Lyme Cub Scouts Meet with State Senator Paul Formica

East Lyme – Senator Paul Formica (center) joined a meeting of Cub Scout Pack 24 in East Lyme on January 11. The fourth and fifth grade cub scouts are learning about “building a better world” and invited Senator Formica to speak about leadership, government and his role in the community.

“I was extremely impressed by the questions asked by these young leaders and their interest in serving their community,” said Formica.

The senator also spoke to the cub scouts about being active citizens and helping others. Sen. Formica was joined by Webelos Den Leader Becky Miller (far left) and Cubmaster William Gombos (far right). Sen. Formica (senatorformica.com) represents Bozrah, East Lyme, Montville, New London, Old Lyme, Old Saybrook, Salem, and Waterford.
