Sen. Linares Applauds I-Park Foundation on NEA Grant

December 21, 2016

Sen. Art Linares today congratulated East Haddam’s I-Park Foundation, Inc. for receiving a $20,000 grant from the National Endowment for the Arts (NEA).

“The I-Park Foundation provides a unique experience for both the artists-in-residence and the East Haddam community through its cultivation and promotion of various art forms,” Sen. Linares said. “To know that this local, artistic incubator has received national recognition and funding is a testament to the vision and commitment of the I-Park Foundation’s staff and supporters.”

The NEA grant specifically supports I-Park’s Environmental Art Biennale, which is a residency and exhibition that opens for public viewing in June of 2017. This will be the sixth biennale in the foundation’s series and the first to take place in the spring since 2007.
