Chip’s Restaurant, Sen. Hwang Supporting CT Charities

Sen. Tony Hwang (far left) on Dec. 20 joined with the staff at Chip’s family restaurant in Orange to celebrate the donation of $15,000 to several Connecticut charities. The money raised during Chip’s 2016 Thanksgiving fundraiser has been donated to: Operation Hope, the Make-A-Wish Foundation, Relay for Life, and the CT Breast Health Initiative. Sen. Hwang commended Chip’s staff and Chip’s owner George “Georgie” Chatzopoulus for their community activism and for taking positive steps to improve the quality of life for Connecticut’s most vulnerable residents.
