You Are Not Alone

I want to thank the many of you who have been raising your voices about the need for Connecticut to get its fiscal house in order.

I want you to know that you are not alone.

• A Ridgefield resident writes, “It’s long overdue for a cap to be placed on (state government) spending. I hear many creative things being proposed to take in more revenue – use that creativity to reduce taxes, not increase taxes.”
• A senior from Weston writes, “Both my college educated children and their spouses with six figure incomes have left (Connecticut). All my spouse’s 5 siblings have left, (which include 2 executives, a small business owner, one nurse, and a CFA). My retired co-workers have moved in mass to NC, SC,GA, and FL. Three of my long time neighbors are fixing up their homes and moving out of state after they sell.”

These are exactly the type of comments that the decision-makers in Hartford need to hear!
