Republicans ask for the Truth

October 24, 2016

Non-partisan budget analysts say that Connecticut will be $78 million in the red.

But weeks before an election, Governor Malloy’s Budget Office and the Comptroller say everything’s fine…

They say this while members of Governor Malloy’s administration tell state agencies to prepare for big cuts after the election.

This story doesn’t add up.

So Republicans intend to hold an informational hearing on Wednesday October 26th so the Governor’s office and the Comptroller can explain their budget projections to the people of Connecticut.

I will keep you informed of this fishy situation.

Best,

Mike
