A “Yes” Vote, With a Warning

October 3, 2016

Last week, I voted “yes” on the state incentives package to save thousands and thousands of good-paying, highly skilled Sikorsky jobs and keep Sikorsky in Stratford.

Thousands of Sikorsky vendor jobs will also be saved statewide via the deal.

In voting “yes”, I warned my colleagues that it costs far too much to do business in Connecticut as opposed to the other states.

We must rein in wasteful government spending and borrowing.

And we must lower expenses for all state residents and businesses by lowering taxes and by eliminating burdensome regulations.
