Sen. Paul Formica (center) on July 22 attended the groundbreaking ceremony for the Mago Point Smokehouse on the former site of Unk’s in Waterford. The barbeque restaurant is slated to open next summer. Formica, who is also a restaurant owner, said the region welcomes the small business with open arms.
