Thursday in Fairfield: Dairy Queen Miracle Treat Day Benefits Region’s Most Seriously Ill Children

July 27, 2016

On Thursday, July 28, Dairy Queen at 1902 Post Road in Fairfield will join with participating Dairy Queens throughout the region to host Miracle Treat Day, a national fundraising campaign for Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals. For every Blizzard treat sold, Dairy Queen will donate $1 or more to Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals. Since all donations to Children’s Miracle Network hospitals stay local, proceeds from each Blizzard treat sold on Thursday will benefit Maria Fareri Children’s Hospital, the children’s hospital for Fairfield County and the Hudson Valley.

Fairfield Sen. Tony Hwang said, “This event is a reflection of a community that cares. The combination of a local business and the national Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals to raise money to provide healthcare services for seriously ill and injured children is another example of why our community is so uniquely special. Come down for an ice cream treat and I am thrilled to support this wonderful event.”

Sen. Hwang will join with area families and local officials at 1 PM Thursday, July 28, at Dairy Queen at 1902 Post Road in Fairfield.
