Stratford I-95 Traffic Alert – Nighttime Bridge Maintenance

The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that a nighttime bridge maintenance project will be performed on about 20 bridges on I-95 in Bridgeport and Stratford, beginning Sunday, July 31, 2016 to the morning of Wednesday, August 31, 2016. Hours of operation will be 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. Lane closures will be required.

LANE CLOSURE INFO

Motorists can expect lane closures on I-95 NB & SB between Exit 27 SB (Lafayette Blvd.) & Exit 28 NB (Rt. 127, East Main Street). In Bridgeport to Exit 32 SB (Linden Avenue) & Exit 33 NB (Rt. 130) in Stratford.

Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone. The regular work schedule for this project is from 9:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. (Sunday through Thursday evenings). Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this vicinity.
