Insurance Rate Forum Postponed

The Shelton informational forum on Connecticut’s proposed health insurance rate increases has been postponed. The forum was originally scheduled for Monday August 1, 2016 from 6:00pm-7:30pm at Shelton Senior Center, 81 Wheeler Street. The event will be rescheduled for a later date.

If you wish to voice your questions or concerns about the proposed insurance rate hikes there is still time to submit public comment at www.ct.gov/cid.

You can also testify at the Insurance Department’s public hearings.

Public Hearings will be held at the Insurance Department, 153 Market Street, 7th Floor Hearing Room, Hartford at the following dates and times:

• August 3rd at 9:00am – Anthem Health Plans hearing
• August 4th at 9:00am – ConnectiCare Insurance Company hearing
• August 4th at 1:00pm – Aetna Insurance Company of CT hearing
