The DMV just cannot get it right
June 8, 2016Over the weekend the DMV again forced Connecticut residents to wait in 3 and 4 hour lines due to their inability to manage a computer system they have had for more than 8 months.

Adding insult to injury: The DMV announce today that it may have wrongly filed up to 50,000 car tax forms. Taxpayers may receive tax bills from the wrong towns! Please make sure you read over your car tax bills carefully.
Officials advised residents that if they received a tax bill from a municipality in which they did not reside or in which they did not have a vehicle (both as of October 1, 2015), they need to contact their assessor to request a transfer to the correct town or city of residency as of October 1, 2015.
