In Sherman July 6: McLachlan and Smith Host Town Hall Meeting

Sen. Michael McLachlan and Rep. Richard A. Smith on Wednesday, July 6 will host a Town Hall Meeting at the Sherman Emergency Services Facility (Firehouse) Charter Hall, 1 Route 39 North from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. to update taxpayers on the state budget and key issues at the State Capitol.
The legislators recently voted against the state budget bill which cuts funding for towns, schools, hospitals, seniors, and the disabled.
McLachlan and Smith had joined with Republicans in proposing an alternative budget which restored funding for these areas while raising no taxes.
