May 10, 2016Hartford – Senate Minority Leader Len Fasano (right) answers a question from Cablevision host David Smith during a May 4 taping of the show “Meet the Leaders.” Sen. Fasano says the budget agreed to by the Democrats and the Governor should not be rushed through, as only a handful of people know what’s in the budget. Fasano is supporting the alternative Republican budget proposal which contains no new taxes, restores funding for hospitals and local education aid, makes long-term structural reforms and puts Connecticut back on a stable, sustainable budget path.
