Help Me to Protect Vulnerable CT Residents!
April 28, 2016Gov. Malloy is proposing to close the Ella Grasso Regional Center in Stratford.
This closure would put developmentally disabled Connecticut residents at risk.
The decision to close the Center was made without input from family members, caregivers, or the state legislature.
These vulnerable individuals deserve respect and dignity. So do their families and loved ones.
More than 2,000 people in Connecticut are currently on the waiting list for services similar to those provided by the Center.
Please join me in opposing the Center’s closure!
