(photos) Linares, Ziobron Meet with Portland, East Hampton Business Community

Sen. Art Linares and Rep. Melissa Ziobron (at left) on Jan. 6 addressed members of the Middlesex County Chamber of Commerce during a forum at Portland Town Hall. The legislators spoke to business owners from East Hampton and Portland about their ongoing efforts to reduce taxes and to pass policies which promote job growth. Audience members asked the legislators questions and learned about how they can make local businesses’ needs heard at the State Capitol. Last year, Linares and Ziobron voted “no” on the state budget bill which contained the second largest tax hike in Connecticut history.
