Sen. Frantz Visits Karl Chevrolet in New Canaan

Connecticut should be open to businesses

Hartford, CT – Sen. Scott Frantz (R-Greenwich) talked job creation and the economy while visiting Karl Chevrolet in New Canaan recently. The Ranking Member on the Finance Committee believes Connecticut should be open to businesses around the state.

“Stability in business is crucial. Government should not stand in the way of innovation,” said Frantz.

Frantz test drove a 2016 Chevy Volt, a hybrid car that gets over 40 miles per gallon. Leo Karl, III, hosted the tour. “Karl Chevrolet is an institution in New Canaan,” Frantz said.

Karl Chevrolet has been in business since the 1920s. During the visit, Sen. Frantz took a few minutes to talk to the employees and answer their questions.

“We need to do what we can to support businesses like Karl Chevrolet,” Frantz said.
