To mark Manufacturing Month, Sen. Henri Martin has been visiting area manufacturers to highlight their contributions to Connecticut’s economy. On Oct. 6, Martin visited Bristol-based Ultimate Wireforms, Inc., meeting with company employees and discussing ways to improve Connecticut’s business climate. “Heading into the 2016 legislative session, I am gathering ideas for policy changes which will help our manufacturers thrive,” Martin said. “Our common goal in Hartford should be to create a business environment that is a role model for other states. Connecticut can be a state where entrepreneurs want to come and create jobs, but we need to focus on passing legislation which lowers taxes and which gets rid of burdensome government regulations and mandates.”
