Sen. Kissel Listens to Granby Taxpayers at Geissler’s

Sen. John A. Kissel held one of his regular “Senator on Your Sidewalk” events outside of Geissler’s on Sep. 15.

Area residents were able to discuss state issues with Sen. Kissel, including taxation. Sen. Kissel voted “no” on the state budget, which raised state taxes by the second largest amount in state history.

“Once again, a big ‘thank you’ to the gracious staff and management at Geissler’s for allowing me to host the Senator on Your Sidewalk event here,” Sen. Kissel said. “They are a great way for me to talk to local residents face-to-face in a relaxed setting, and I believe they make me a more effective legislator. I look forward to future ‘Sidewalk’ events here in Granby and throughout our region.”
