Sen. Markley, Rep. D’Amelio, and Rep. Noujaim to Host Town Hall Meeting in Waterbury

Waterbury-Senator Joe Markley (R-16), Representative Tony D’Amelio, and Representative Selim Noujaim will host a town hall meeting for their constituents in Waterbury to discuss the conclusion of the 2015 Legislative Session.

“I’m looking forward to meeting with the good people of Waterbury and laying out the results of the 2015 Legislative Session,” said Sen. Markley. “This meeting will help me hear people’s concerns and represent them more effectively in Hartford.”

“This past legislative session was difficult for our state and I hope we can bring some clarity to the changes in state law that will impact the people of Waterbury,” Rep. D’Amelio said. “I look forward to speaking with my constituents and answering their questions.”

“I appreciate each and every person who takes the time to reach out and talk with the delegation on important matters in the East End and the entire city of Waterbury,” Rep. Noujaim said. “Town halls like this help us quickly understand how decisions made in Hartford truly affect the people of Waterbury and I encourage everyone who is able to attend.”

The meeting will be held on Tuesday July 21st 11 a.m. at the Waterbury Senior Center, 1985 E. Main St., Waterbury. The event is open to the public, and all are encouraged to attend.
