Why Should Hartford Baseball Stadium Get State Taxpayer $$ ?

By now, you have probably heard that a minor league baseball stadium is being built in Hartford.

The stadium will be home to the Hartford Yard Goats.

Connecticut residents were promised that no state taxpayer dollars would be spent on this project.

Well, a bill has been proposed which could break that promise.

On Monday, April 20, a public hearing will be held on a bill which would divert state tax revenue – your tax dollars – to help pay for the Hartford stadium.
