Carney, Linares Listen to Local Businesses

(Attached photo) Rep. Devin Carney (left) and Sen. Art Linares (center) welcomed area business leaders to the State Capitol on Mar. 25 for “Connecticut Business Day”. The legislators said their goal is to make Connecticut a top state for jobs, opportunity and a better future for everyone. Connecticut Business Day is a free event sponsored by the Connecticut Business and Industry Association and the Connecticut Association of Chamber of Commerce Executives. Rep. Carney represents the 23rd General Assembly District covering Lyme, Old Lyme, Old Saybrook and Westbrook. Sen. Linares represents the 33rd Senate District, which encompasses the towns of Chester, Clinton, Colchester, Deep River, East Haddam, East Hampton, Essex, Haddam, Lyme, Old Saybrook, Portland, and Westbrook.
