State Sen. Scott Frantz, R-36, is concerned with a Gallup job survey ranking Connecticut last in the nation in job creation in 2014. Connecticut has continuously ranked in the last 10 states but now it has hit rock bottom. We talk about this on the podcast with Sen. Frantz.

We also discuss transportation and Gov. Dannel P. Malloy’s criticism of the Republican’s transportation plan. The senator is a member of the General Assembly’s transportation committee, and he insists there is a reason why the GOP offered specific numbers but not specific projects in its presentation.

The issue of tolls possibly returning to Connecticut and the Hartford to New Britain busway also entered the conversation.
