On July 9 at the State Capitol, Sen. Toni Boucher joined Jewish community members and elected officials from across the state to pay tribute to a rabbi described as the most influential rabbi in modern history.

July 2014 marks the 20th anniversary of Lubavitcher Rebbe, Rabbi Menachem M. Schneerson’s passing. The anniversary has brought heightened interest in his life and legacy along with the release of a new biography “Rebbe”.

“This was a gathering to celebrate an inspirational leader who touched millions of lives,” Sen. Boucher said. “I was honored to participate in the ceremony and to join with so many others to focus on the Rebbe’s life, his teachings and his generosity.”
