New Fairfield Students Meet With Sen. McLachlan

Sen. Michael McLachlan welcomed New Fairfield and Danbury students to the State Capitol complex on April 1 as part of the American Cancer Society’s Day at the Capitol. The students were advocating for tobacco education funding, breast and cervical cancer early detection and nutritional standards for early childcare facilities. The group is also organizing the June 7 Relay for Life at New Fairfield High School, and Sen. McLachlan will speak at the Relay for Life opening ceremony.
