Welcome Home!

State Sen. Art Linares (center) welcomes home a member of the Connecticut Army National Guard during a June 22 ceremony at Colchester’s veterans green. At left is state Rep. Linda Orange. The legislators and state Rep. Melissa Ziobron presented an official state proclamation to mark the return home of several local National Guard members who have been deployed overseas. The ceremony was attended by families and friends, federal, state and local officials, area veterans and the Patriot Guard Riders motorcycle group.
