Sen. Kane: Red Sox Charity License Plate Now Available in CT

Connecticut Red Sox fans can now show their team pride with vanity license plates which will feature the Boston Red Sox hanging socks logo and help fund a college scholarship program to be established by the Red Sox Foundation for Connecticut public high school students.  Sen. Rob Kane was greeted by Boston Red Sox mascot “Wally” during the March 8 announcement at the Legislative Office Building.

Sen. Rob Kane joined state and municipal officials at the Legislative Office Building on March 8 in announcing a new state vanity license plate.

The vanity plates will feature the Boston Red Sox hanging socks logo and help fund a college scholarship program to be established by the Red Sox Foundation for Connecticut public high school students.

Connecticut drivers interested in a Red Sox license plate can visit redsoxfoundation.org to complete the application form.

Any charitable organization can seek approval for their own license plate in the state.
