State Sen. Rob Kane (pictured) has been reappointed to the U.S. Small Business Administration’s Region I Regulatory Fairness Board.

State Sen. Rob Kane (R-Watertown) has been reappointed to the U.S. Small Business Administration’s Region I Regulatory Fairness Board.

In this role, Kane will continue to serve as a local resource for small businesses and will work with trade groups and other entities to address regional concerns regarding federal regulatory enforcement and compliance issues.

He is the owner of KarTele Cellular Phones in Waterbury.

Kane represents Bethlehem, Bridgewater, Middlebury, Oxford, Roxbury, Seymour, Southbury, Thomaston and Woodbury.

He is a former member of the Board of Directors of the Greater Waterbury Chamber of Commerce, a past recipient of the Waterbury Regional Chamber Malcolm Baldrige Award for Volunteerism, and a past recipient of the Waterbury Regional Chamber Harold Webster Smith Small Business Award.
