On May 3, State Sen. Rob Kane welcomed visitors from the Falls Avenue Senior Center to the State Capitol.

Senator Kane brought the group onto the floor of the State Senate Chambers and introduced them to his fellow senators.

“Our visitors received a warm ovation from legislators and from spectators in the Senate gallery,” Sen. Kane said. “I was so pleased that they came to visit our historic State Capitol. They picked an excellent day to visit, too, because during the last week of the Connecticut General Assembly’s legislative session, this building is buzzing with activity. It was great to have my friends from Watertown and Oakville join me in our Senate Chamber.”
