Sen. Kane welcomes St. Mary Magdalen School students to Capitol

On May 2, State Sen. Rob Kane welcomed the Girls JV Basketball Team from St. Mary Magdalen School to the State Capitol.

Speaking to his fellow state senators on the floor of the Senate Chamber, Sen. Kane introduced the team and commended them on their hard work. The team received a warm ovation from state legislators and from spectators in the Senate gallery.

“We are so proud of our area students and it was a pleasure to welcome the team to our beautiful State Capitol,” Sen. Kane said. “They are learning teamwork, discipline and respect both on the court and in the classroom. That’s a testament to their coaches, teachers and parents, who support them every step of the way. We wish them all continued success.”
