ENFIELD — State Senator John A. Kissel (R-Enfield) received top marks on this year’s Environmental Scorecard issued Nov. 14 by the CT League of Conservation Voters (CTLCV).

Designed to give constituents a sense of how their elected officials performed in regards to issues like clean water, energy reform, conservation, and farmland preservation, the scorecard ranks state legislators on a scale from 0 % to 100 % based on their votes pertaining to environmentally-pertinent bills.

According to the report’s calculations, Kissel scored 100 % for his support of a host of environmentally friendly laws.

Kissel ([email protected]) represents 7th Senate District towns including East Granby, Enfield, Somers, Suffield, Windsor Locks and portions of Granby and Windsor.
