Shelters and warming centers are open

Shelters are open in our area to provide heat, snacks, and in some cases charging stations for cell phones and showers.

Bridgewater: Bridgewater Firehouse, Rte. 133, Main St.
Middlebury and Southbury: Pomperaug High School, 234 Judd Road, Southbury
Middlebury: Middlebury Fire Department, 65 Tucker Hill Road
Southbury: Southbury Fire Station, 451 Main St.
Oxford: Quaker Farms School, 30 Great Oak Rd
Roxbury: Roxbury Fire House, 27 North Street
Seymour:  Seymour Middle School, 211 Mountain Road
Watertown: Watertown High School, 324 French St.

Residents are reminded to bring their own bedding and personal supplies including medication.
