Sign my petition: Axe the tax on your social security benefits
Connecticut has made a Top 10 list, but it’s not a good one to be on.
Our state is ranked among the Top 10 Worst States in which to spend your golden years. (Source: TopRetirements.com)
One reason for that is because Connecticut is one of 14 states to tax Social Security income.
Why, with our already high cost of living, are we taxing Social Security income?
Shouldn’t we be doing all we can to help seniors and those on fixed income, especially during these difficult times?
I am asking the same questions up at the State Capitol.
Taxing your social security benefits is wrong and we need to get rid of it. If you feel the same way, here’s how you can help me.
Please sign my petition below to axe the tax on your social security benefits.I will present your signatures to Gov. Malloy and to Democrat leaders to show them that the public is demanding that this tax be taken off our state books.
