The Purple Tie Program – Oct. 26th

September 2, 2010

On Tuesday, October 26th, men throughout Connecticut will be standing up to support Domestic Violence Awareness by wearing Brooks Brothers custom designed purple silk ties with the domestic violence logo.

The Purple Tie Program – Oct. 26thThe price of the tie is $25.00, and a portion of the sales will help support the work of domestic violence agencies such as the Domestic Violence Crisis Center.

The purple tie program is spearheaded by Gary Pearson, the director of Living in Harmony. He has arranged for the production and delivery of the ties in cooperation with the Center for Women and Families of Bridgeport and the Connecticut Coalition Against Domestic Violence.

To support the work of the Domestic Violence Crisis Center and to raise awareness among men of the gravity of domestic violence, we are asking our friends to order these ties.

However, time is very short: All orders must be submitted by September 10th so that Brooks Brothers can begin production and assure delivery by October 26th.

If you wish to participate, please fill out the order form. Checks should be made out to the Domestic Violence Crisis Center and mailed, along with the completed form, to:
